BRING THE MELES ZENAWI REGIME TO TRIAL

SOCEPP calls on all Ethiopians and human rights organizations to lodge a formal international accusation in the Hague court against the Meles Zenawi regime accusing it of “massacre” against Ethiopians in Awassa.

On May 14, guerrillas backed by Rwanda are accused of committing a massacre in Kisangani, the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The DRC government has now formally accused the Rwanda government (at the Hague Court) of massacring innocent people. This clearly shows that there is a legal basis for filing a legal complaint against the EPRDF for having massacred more than a 100 people in Awassa. The same accusation can be lodged vis a vis Arbagugu and other massacres incidents in the last years.

For the bloody massacre in Ethiopia, the accused are Meles Zenawi (Prime Minister), his police commissioner, the president of the Southern region and the commander of the army in the south. The charge is massacre.
